Andrew Shamis is the managing partner at Shamis & Gentile, P.A. Mr. Shamis has extensive experience in civil litigation (county, circuit and federal) where he has gained a reputation as a no nonsense, aggressive attorney who advocates for his clients in the strongest way possible. Mr. Shamis has conducted hundreds of depositions and successfully litigated cases throughout the state of Florida and New York. Mr. Shamis has been personally responsible for recovering millions of dollars owed to his clients over the course of his legal career. Mr. Shamis is admitted to practice law in both the state of Florida and New York, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.Mr. Shamis specializes in Personal Injury, Personal Injury Protection, Class Action Litigation (TCPA and FACTA violations), Wrongful Death, as well as General Civil Litigation.Mr. Shamis grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and later moved to Alpharetta, Georgia. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Georgia. Mr. Shamis then received his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami, School of Law. Mr. Shamis is proud to call Miami his home and looks forward to representing the citizens of South Florida for the rest of his legal career.Mr. Shamis is admitted and cleared to practice law in both the state of Florida and New York.
