Lesaka Technologies Inc. Securities Fraud Investigation
April 13, 2026
Shamis & Gentile, P.A. is investigating claims on behalf of investors of Lesaka Technologies, Inc. ("Lesaka Technologies" or the "Company") (LSAK). Impacted investors are advised to contact the firm now.
The investigation concerns whether Lesaka Technologies and certain of its officers and/or directors have engaged in securities fraud or other unlawful business practices.
The investigation focuses on whether Lesaka Technologies issued materially false or misleading statements and omitted important information regarding its financial results throughout fiscal year 2025. On September 10, 2025, Lesaka Technologies disclosed in a Form 8-K filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission that its Audit Committee determined the unaudited financial statements for Q3 2024, Q4 2024 and Q1 2025 should be restated. The Company admitted that certain revenues previously reported as agent sales should have been recorded as principal sales, which would increase both reported revenue and cost of goods sold by equal amounts, leaving net loss unchanged. This restatement, which was also detailed in an investor presentation, revealed that prior financial statements and guidance may have materially misrepresented the Company’s true financial position.
On September 11, 2025, following the announcement of the restatement, Lesaka Technologies’ stock price declined approximately 10 percent, closing at $4.25 per share compared to $4.73 on September 10, 2025. This drop erased millions of dollars in market capitalization.
