Trinseo PLC Securities Fraud Investigation
April 13, 2026
Shamis & Gentile, P.A. is investigating claims on behalf of investors of Trinseo PLC ("Trinseo" or the "Company") (TSE). Impacted investors are advised to contact the firm now.
The law firm is investigating whether Trinseo and certain of its officers and directors made misrepresentations or failed to disclose material information regarding the operational viability and financial condition of the Company’s European manufacturing facilities and overall liquidity between July 2024 and early October 2025.
Throughout this time, Trinseo seemingly highlighted its Rho, Italy depolymerization plant, calling it “a significant step forward in the Company's commitment to sustainability” and emphasizing its ability to produce high-quality recycled MMA monomer with purity comparable to virgin material. Company executives also cited multiple quarters of adjusted EBITDA improvement and described Trinseo as having “ample runway to continue pursuing our strategy,” while continuing to issue quarterly dividends.
However, as 2025 progressed, Trinseo appears to have experienced weak demand, higher energy costs, and increased competition from imports, particularly in Europe. On October 6, 2025, Trinseo announced the permanent closure of its MMA and ACH plants in Italy, including Rho and Porto Marghera, and the indefinite suspension of its quarterly dividend.
Following this news, Trinseo’s stock price declined 10.9%, from $2.30 per share on October 6, to close at 2.05 per share the following day.
If you purchased or acquired Trinseo (NYSE: TSE) securities between July 2024 and October 2025, you may be eligible to seek compensation for losses. Contact Shamis & Gentile, P.A. today to discuss your options.
